The Sim Monitor™ monitoring and alerting service for Second Life simulators or "sims" provides a cost affective way for maintaining server stability and minimizing server lag time or "lag", by maintaining a constant watch of server performance and reporting to our database, allowing you to view performance data in a graphical format. Sim Monitor™ monitors the the data and sends alerts via email , SMS text message or in-world IM of critical loss in sim performance. The Sim Monitor™ service consists of four components, the database and web interface for graphical statistics, the lightweight in-world Sim Monitor™ Server, a streaming monitor heads up display or "HUD" attachment for assisting in tracking down problem scripts, and an in-world sim Statistics Display Monitor. Setup of the service is as easy as rezzing the Sim Monitor™ Server and the optionalStatistics Display Monitor anywhere on a sim and that's it! For a view of the web interface click here and to view the in-world Server and Statistics Display Monitor at the Virtual Visions office click here.
